I've been using Cialis for a while now, and I'm a very satisfied customer. But its been going so well, Im wondering now whether I could go it alone? Try without? It feels almost as if I've overcome ED - is that possible? Of course the fear of not performing might return - I've really been enjoying the confidence boost. But Im intrigued to see if now that psychologically I'm committed to the girl I'm with, if I could manage on my own. I'm probably kidding myself, right? Cheers. P

hi mate, only you can answer that question. I know you'd like reassurance that its all going to be ok without cialis, but nobody can guarantee that. You can overcome ED if its just psychological - and maybe you are there now. If you're committed to the girl, give it a try without. If it doesn't work out, then you know you've got a plan B.

Just wondering pod - Before you felt committed to your girlfriend it may have created distance in your relationship - and ED can become a subliminal excuse to avoid intimacy. Maybe if your feeling more committed and readyt to settle down with her, and youve sorted out some underlying problems, the ED might well have disappeared. Is she aware that you've been taking cialis? If you're open with her I reckon you shouldnt be worried about the risks of 'going it alone'

thanks sqeueamish for answering my post. I had a try on Friday night with disasterous results. She's been great about it, but it was a humiliating evening all the same. I felt mentally so charged about it, but couldnt close the deal. After a few minutes of intercourse I just lost it. On the plus side, I took cialis the next night and as usual that worked well. But Im feeling deflated, having thought I might have gotten over the ED.

that sounds bad! just keep on with the cialis then? im seeing girl whos not on the pill, so im worried about her getting pregnant. we've managed to split a few condoms, so i can never relly let myself go. Then I just lose the hard on, its a nightmare. im 21 and its really embarrassing. shes a bit older so shes being ok about it. it doesnt happen every time, so im not taking viagra all the time, though i know i could. but i dont want to become reliant on it. so Im sorry for you dude, i know what you mean

Hey pod and squeamish, so it's a tough one as ED is not just a mental issue, it can be for some like stress or something but you shouldnt stress about you needing ed meds, it is a medical issue and you shouldnt be ashamed, there is no harm in trying to go it alone. Try it again another time, but otherwise, don't beat yourself up about it. Tommy

Thanks tommy I appreciate it. Stress has always been a feature in my life. Work but also relationship orientated. Now that Ive got the girlfriend I want and Im happy I thought all round that my stress levels were low enough to go it alone. I'll try again in future, I just can't believe somehow that this isnt a phase.

maybe it is and you don't realise that having sex with out the aid of ed meds is actually pretty stressful as we put all our pride into our manhood status so in a way you may still be stressed about using ed meds in the first place. just a thought, Tommy
