i found this on the Mayo Clinic website: Atherosclerosis (ath-ur-o-skluh-RO-sis) — sometimes called hardening of the arteries — is the buildup of plaques in the arteries in different parts of your body. It causes the arteries to narrow and harden, limiting blood flow. Because the arteries supplying your penis are smaller than those supplying your heart, symptoms of atherosclerosis may first show up as erectile dysfunction. Heart disease occurs when you have atherosclerosis in the arteries that supply your heart with blood. Atherosclerosis can also increase your risk of other problems, including aneurysm, stroke and peripheral artery disease. Hope it puts your mind at ease.

I suppose the only advice here is to keep a healthy lifestyle and your heart will keep strong and your valves won't clog up etc...

yep, very true, you know that if you keep a healthy lifestyle, your heart will stay strong, now erectile dysfunction can still have issues even if you are healthy, it's just one of those things, i don't believe one will lead to the other, like we are predisposed to have heart trouble. It is NOT going to happen to me. Bernard

So that report says if you have heart disease it can show up first as ED? That's interesting. I lead a healthy life style - trying to drink and eat sensibly (although with the World Cup on at the moment, I've had more beer and pizza than normal!) and I go to the gym. Don't think I've got heart disease in the family, certainly not immediately. I just take Cialis and dont really think about it anymore. Cheers P
