Does anyone know anything about the blood type diet? Apparently that's how Cliff Richard has kept the body of a 25 year man (in fact, he looks better than he did then!) He says he eats what he wants apart from the 'banned' foods and doesnt put on a pound. He's blood type A and there are foods that you should avoid, like potatoes and mangoes. Has anyone tried this and found that it works? Interesting that eliminating certain foods would help that much! WA

I asked my doctor about the blood type diet and they scoffed at it! I felt too embarrassed to ask any further. And I couldnt bring myself to get a blood test - I hate them! No, I'm not trying it yet. But I still would like to. I just don't know my blood type!

That gastric band has really worked for Fern Britten - her photo on the cover of one of the magazines this month looks amazing! But then I read about another man who has lived with awful pain since he got his gastric band. He can't eat any solid food because its too painful. And he and his wife wish that they could turn back the clock and have him back the way he was. It was a very sad story. He has to take his food through a tube. Awful!
