Apparantly adding three small pears or apples to your daily diet helps with weightloss. Apples follow pears as the second leading fruit for fibre, and the pectin keeps your hunger satiated and stabilizes blood sugar levels which stops you snacking. but is it just me or do apples make you hungrier? It doesnt really apply now that I'm taking reductil, but I always used to find that. I like pears though. So I'll be buying more of those! WA

i buy pear juice from the baby section as you cannot get fresh pear juice easily... (unless you juice it yourself of course) anyway, it really does help with the fibre, and i love it more than apples... Disco x

I hadn't thought about raiding the baby section! I loved tasting the purees when I was feeding my kids. That's a good idea to get our juices there, thanks Disco! WA
