We feel compelled (with the ongoing discussions on Duromine) to highlight a few pointers on the potential dangers. Duromine was removed from UK circulation because it was not deemed a safe treatment. "The slimming drug Phentermine has been banned in the UK after fears it could cause heart disease. The drug, marketed as Duromine and Ionamin, has been linked to leakage in the heart valves."
