Can certain medications induce hair loss? I been taking acne medication and ever since I started to notice that my hair is getting thinner.

I think a number of medications can induce hair loss.  I looked them up
for you and these are retinoids, birth control pills (unlikely if you're a
man!)  beta-blockers, certain antidepressants, NSAIDs (including
iburpofen) and calcium channel blocker.
Perhaps have a look at the ingredients of your medication and google the
first ones (they are the biggest) and see if any of them come up with hair
loss as a side effect.
