I am normally very vocal on the Reductil forum as I have sucessfully gone from 20 stones to 14 st 6lbs this year with reds, however my doctor has asked me to try Acomplia, I am on day 5 of the tablet and cannot see that much difference, I had terrible stomach gripes and diarroah (so) last night was on the loo for nearly an hour, I think my reds were much better, be good to hear from anyone in the same positon right now, although see it is rather a quite forum.

Ha ha thats so funny, I feel much better today but have not yet experienced the "loss of happiness associated with food" like I was told to expect but I suppose it can take a while to get into my system just like reductil did, I get weighed tomorrow but unless a miracle happens over night I do not expect a loss just yet.

Hi, I feel like they have kicked in today, my mouth is dry again like on reductil, but I have not thought about food today and when I did eat I just ate it for the sake of eating. Anyay I said to nurse I would give them a go for the month and if they carry on doing the job like they seem to be doing today then I will be happy, oh and the toilet runs have stopped and so have the gripes so maybe I had a bug at the time. xxx

hello darling glad to hear of your fantastic weight loss, i bet u look fab. hope i can achieve that. Anyway i want to help you so i will tell you a bit about me. My name is peter i was 17stn 5lb and have just lost 3 stone in only 3 months on the tablet i cant believe it and i haven't even been to gym or exercised. I was getting so fat i could hardly breath and was frequently short of breath not to mention i looked like sh*t. Unfortunately i am a life time dieter on and off and have tried every new diet pill on the market as they come out, including your zenical which does not work. So i don't know how you lost all that weight on it. So i just wanted to tell you that oh thank the lord that accomplia does what it says on the packet IT WORKS! I have had all the side affects associated with diet pills depression, anxiety, unable too sleep terrible mood swings but i try to put up with that as i would kill to be thin so i was a bit reluctant to start yet another diet pill as i don't need any help in feeling down. But accomplia is the first diet pill that i have taken that i absolutely no side affects from if anything i feel happier and im sure it has increased my sex drive, i did need help in that department but it doesn't say anything about that so perhaps i am imagining that or that it is probably taken by mainly woman. Plus i cant believe it does actually stop me feeling like chocolate which i live for Ive tried having some and i left most of it in the fridge which is unheard of for me. And i no longer seem to think to think of food 24 7. I sleep fine thank goodness as i cant lie in bed awake. I am lucky enough to be getting them from the doctor at the moment but i notice that a lot of people have to pay between 100 and 200 pound a month, my doctor was moaning about the cost of it to the national health and didn't want to give it to me quoting stupid hospital budgets and the like but i was insistent so she said she would put me on it for a short time but after taking it for over three months and how much better i feel and look i am never going to come off it,so i will get it one way or another. So i hope this has been of some help to you and i want you yo stick with your new tablet because if it works for me who i thought was a hopeless case as far as loosing weight was concerned i just know it will work for you. GOOD LUCK. Peter
