I just started Acomplia today and I felt ok.  I want to share my experience here and also ask any questions that I may have.  I had a bit of an off day, my energy was good but I felt angry and irritable over the slightest matter.  Will update next week to let you know of any weight loss etc.  Also I did not get hungry and ate only one meal in the entire day, I couldn't even look at food.  I do however have one question, do these side effects go away, or are they permanent?

Hi I have just finished 28day course of Acomplia and found them ok, didnt notice any sideaffects any different from my reductil side affects (have been on reds for nearly a year and have lost 6 stones).  I have asked to switch back to reductil though as I preferred them but saying that I am not too sure its the right step as with reds I didnt feel hungry but thought of food with acomplia I dont think about eating.  One thing I have learnt through the las tyear is that the weeks I had treats and ate more I lost more weight, the weeks I ate hardly anything I didnt lose.  I also have been very loose in the loo department (tmi sorry).  Good luck xxx oops forgot to say I lost 3.5lbs on acomplia in one month which is not bad considering I have lost my main amount and have been dieting for 2 years now.

Well done Jelly - to lose weight after a massive 6 stone weight losss is great. I've been on Acomplia just over a month now(into my second month). Lost 3ilbs in the first month (or though it felt like more!). Downfalls? Diahorrhea and Nausea especially first thing in the morning. Sometimes its 3 times to the loo before I leave for work and I daren't sneeze!!!!! (Had a few accidents there - LOL!) On the plus side it does change your view of hunger - you recognise genuine hunger as opposed to boredom hunger. Also, it kills off any cravings you may have - I had some chocolate the other day and DID NOT ENJOY IT!!!!!  Good luck to everyone on these tablets!

Thanx Jaycee, well Im down by 2lbs in a week so that HUGE!!!  I have never lost that much in a week, and so am pretty chuffed with that. I am so getting depressed though, and I know its these pills but i seem to be getting down about everything!!  I dunno I wanna double up my dose seeing as I brought it off a website and not a Dr.  I guess I have free reign really but i dunno if I'm prepared for the side effects...apart from that, cant eat much, drinking plenty cos i crave water and eating only once or twice a day....usually only twice when we have an unexpected night out or friends over etc but apart frm that pretty good, love the effects!!

Well done, I have gone back to reductil again it suited me better and the difference was a 4lbs loss in 2 weeks as opposed to 3.5lbs in a month on accomplia, both are great tablets in my eyes, but ive decided to go back to what ive been used to. xxx
