Can anyone tell me if you can take acomplia with anti-depressants????

All the information states that you shouldn't take them with anti depressants as they can have depressive effects on their own, I am not taking anti ds at the moment but do get depression from time to time so will have to be careful but its the lesser of 2 evils in my case!!

As Acomplia works on the brain receptors which induce pleasure sensations by blocking off this feeling of pleasure so that we do not eat too much food, it deprives depressed people from one of the only pleasures they are capable of enjoying while depressed. I imagine that this is why doctors do not want to prescribe Acomplia to people who are depressed because it might make them feel even more miserable, besides which, the serotonine reuptake inhibitors in anti-depressor pills might cancel out the effects of Acomplia.  That is just an idea. I have no proof.
