 ON DAY 5 OF TAKING ACOMPLIA HAVE LOST 4LBS SO FAR BUT HAVE STARTED DAY 3 WITH CHEST INFECTION (COMMON SIDE EFFECT SO I SAYS.  HOW DO YOU GET A CHEST INFECTION OF A LITTLE WHITE PILL AND DO I KEEP ON TAKING THIS DRUG ALSO DO I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR OR WILL THIS INFECTION GO AWAY ON ITS OWN? SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!

 Hiya, yes you should see your doctor, you might need anti-biotics.  I don't know how this pill ever got approved there are far too many horrible side-effects.  I was on it for about 2-4 weeks and had to come off it.  I had a rash on my arm, felt terribly down and crazily hungry all the time.

Now by all means do what you want, the side effects might wear off but I would never take it again.  Please remember we are all different.  Good luck.

 thanx for your reply, been to the docs yesterday and was perscribed a 5 day coureof antibiotics still taking acomplia.  If chest infection comes back or for that matter doesnt go i'm straight off them.  It is ashame cos wait seems to be coming off well, lost another half lb today.  i feel ok apart from chest infection but theres no use in bieng slim with bad health!!!

 hi on day 9 lost 7.5lbs appetite has halved and dont even fancy a glass of wine in the evening(thats a bonus)finished antibiotics yesterday still have a cough but feel much better, keeping a close eye on cough and hope infection stays at bay!!!keep you all posted.

 thanx for your reply,maybe your right but still have a cough. how much wieght have you lost since bieng on acomplia and have you ever had abreak from the drug? i have gained 3lbs over the last weekend so feeling a little fed up.  do you drink alchol with acomplia and does it stop effects of weight loss?
