Started taking the acomplia today. So far got griping stomach pains but as i get them anyway i don't know if i can attribute it to the tablets. Just ate the usual so far but by now i'm usually ready for lunch and i'm not today so it sounds promisin.....
Bit concerned about the side effects listed in the box. Hope i don't have any suicidal thoughts or episodes of mania!
Been on the Xenical for the last three weeks with no good effect whatsoever. Strange because going back a few years i had quite a good success with them, losing 2 1/2 stone. It just shows how your body can change and what works one time won't necessarily work again.

I started Acomplia 3 weeks ago and have gone from 213.5 lbs to fluctuating between 198-202 so far. I'm desperate to get to around 170. Drink lots of water..I notice jumps in weight loss when I drink loads of water. Also, walk for a 1/2 hour to an hour a day. You will notice a difference!
The side effects I've had using acomplia are: I'm tired alot...I could easily nap away every afternoon (but then I wouldn't be snacking!). At first I felt really lethargic and couldn't be bothered to eat much of anything at all (not healthy!)..but that worked itself out after a week and now I'm making better choices and NOTICING when I should stop eating. I can really feel the pill kick in about 45 min/hour after taking it and it makes my head feel a bit fuzzy but only for about 1/2 hour, then I level out.
I've been miserable in my job lately and to be honest, I think these pills have mellowed me out and allowed me to deal with the stress at work and the stress of diet/food/weightloss all in a oner.
I don't expect miracles. I know it's me that has to change the way I eat...and eat and eat...but I love food!!! If this can help anyone lose a few pounds and gain tenfold confidence to keep it off..bring it on!
