hi i have been taking acomplia now for just over a week,and i must say i have had none of the side effects yet(fingers crossed),except a few hot flushes which i can live with if its down to the tablets.i also suffer from depression and the dr was a bit weary about giving it to me,but i said i was willing to give it a try,anything to help me lose weight....and up to now i seem o.k.
What i have noticed is that i am never hungry,i don't even crave anything at all,i was terrible for chocolate and sweets,the thought of them now makes me feel ill.And at meal times i am having to make myself sit down and have something to eat,otherwise i wouldn't eat.i don't get weighed for another 2 weeks,so i will let you know how i get on.

hiya just thought i would let you know that i have lost 7 kilos in just over 2 weeks of being on acomplia,and with no side effects,i just hope that the dr can carry on giving them to me.

i think they have stopped giving them out. my gp wouldnt give me anymore i had to have reductil

hi all, im new on here but want to tell you my experiance with Acomplia, well i had been on Acomplia for almost a year when they took it off the market, i was devastated as id lost almost 7 stone in that time, now im taking Reductil 10mg with very slow results in fact ive put about 51b on over xmas perhaps because ive had a death in the family on new yrs eve i really dont know but im due to see my GP this morning & am so frightened that he will take me off them,
I really did get on with Acomplia even though ive suffered depression in the past but my GP closely monitored me each month & was amazed how well i was doing & how much weight i had lost, what also amazes me is that a smoking drug called zyban also have shown signs of people getting depression & suicidal
Anyway, 1 & 1/2 hours to go till i see GP ive still got another stone & half to lose, so please wish me luck
