I know that I will appeal to my fellow ladies of a certain age when i say that my sex drive is so low! I am in my late 40s and am perry menopausal so early stage and my poor husband and family... they are getting a crazy mum right now.
I have to say that one of my concerns besides my bouncing hormones is that I don't want my husband thinking he may never have sex again because of what i am going through and possibly straying. We used to have a very active sex life but right now i am just not feeling at all sexy or horny.
Should i take the plunge and get some intrinsa? I would really appreciate hearing from someone / anyone who can help me or give me an insight into their feelings.
I know i should think the best of my husband and know in my heart he won't stray, but in this day and age, there are plenty of women out there who wouldnt think anything of having an affair!~

I know EXACTLY how you feel! In fact I am pretty much at the same stage becuase i feel like i am out of my skin right now. Men are so lucky arent they.
I have been thinking about trying this Intrinsa stuff too, I am trying to get my sexual desire back! I am sick of my hormones determining everything i do right now!
Shall we take the plunge together, I know we don't know each other but maybe we can be each others support?

Hi Tina,
Thank you so much for replying to my message. I know there are a lot of women out there who are going through the same thing but it is really hard to really connect with them. Women these days try to look invincible and I am cracking a bit unfortunately.
Anyway, I have read the ukmedix website so I feel I have got a really good understanding of how intrinsa works. So am going to buy some today to get ready for the weekend, will let you know how it goes.
Will you be getting some soon?

I am constantly getting my fan out, even if it is chilly, i feel like a bit of a freak.
I really appreciate you getting back to my messages, i know what you mean about not all women coming together. I get that a lot at work. They don't want to look weak by discussing it.
So, i shall be purchasing some I think soon. We have so much on this weekend i don't even know when we would find the time to get down to it. So if you tell me how it goes this weekend that would be great, I will def give it a go if you have great results!

Hi all, this site is great! It is really reassuring that I am not the only person out there with these embarassing systems! As you can tell, I am new to this site... I am about to turn 40 (not that old is it?!) and have been in a long term relationship for 12 years and have noticed that my sex-drive has disappeared. I have blamed work, stress, diet etc and have tried to change all of these things but the drive has STILL not come back! HELP!
I have been reading lots of info on Intrinsa on ukmedix and it sounds good... thinking about placing an order - have you ladies ordered yet? How is it?

I just read your post on another message and came back here to tell Tina all about my amazing first time with Intrinsa this weekend with my hubby. Well, not the details fo course...
Like you my libido was low to non existant, because I am going through my menopause at the moment. So this weekend i took the plunge and triend intrinsa to surprise my husband. It was really great and I feel so much better for trying it out.
Ladies, you need to try it, you wont regret it. I have read all over the internet about it and there is all you need to know about it on this website so go and have all your questions answered, then prepare for an awesome experience!

i do think we should speak up a bit more, you 2 have made me feel so much better and less alone with all this hormonal stuff going on!
Lady lala, Having a low sexual desire is just one of those things! and Saffy you carzy lady, sounds like you are enjoying every bit of Intrinsa.
Will have to surprise my hubby now, going to put my order in, so excited, will keep you posted. Is there a certan time i need to put it on before all the action?

Great to hear it Saffy!! I am going to place an order now, why not right? A little nervous to tell you the truth but worth a shot! If it works, my husband wont know what has hit him, lets just say that it has been a few months...
When will I receive my order? and I have the same question as Tinatina, when do I put the patch on before the action?

OK, so I have received my order in the post from ukmedix but have yet to try it as my hubbie is currently away!! Very excited - quite want to try a patch now to see what happens but then I think that would be a VERY bad idea, ha ha!!!
Will let you know how I get on!

Right, I said that I would keep you posted so I am! I used the patch over the weekend and it was great! OK, to be honest it was very weird at first as I think all my hormones were going crazy but then I really got the feel for it and things were... well great!!! It is ridicouly easy to use and it DOES work. Will certainly keep a stash of them in the bathroom cabinet as hubbie was very happy!
