With all the crazyness that is going on in my life at the moment, I lost track of my Intrinsa patch and stoped wearing it, I just put in a new order and just had a question, does it matter if you take time off from using it, will it imbalance your testosterone too much or is there a natural ebb and flow of it all? Disco xx

Hi Disco If you want Intrinsa to work you need to take it as directed without stopping. It will not harm you to stop and start other than, within a day or two of you stopping your patches, your testosterone levels will plummit. It will then take some weeks for the testosterone to build up again in your body. The ebb and flow you refer to is more what estrogen/ progesterone does when you have periods. Testosterone levels via Intrinsa needs to be continuous if you want the benefit. Hope this helps. Oli

it's true, After reading the previous threads in this forum, i never knew you had to test your levels of test etc. It makes so much sense, especially when i think of my sexual moods and how much they vary! A great forum! Issy x

i wish i was sent a reminder for when i am likely to run out of intrinsa... and you just have to press ok and the order gets sent out, it's silly, some days i just forget where i am at as i am so used to wearing my patch... Disco x
