had my intrinsa patch now from gp for a week, not ravishing husband yet but sex constantly in my thoughts, which is new since total hysterectomy. heres hoping

gp prescribed and suggested it. improves sex life, now wanting it and orgasms not hard work.
doesnt work same as viagra, more gradual, reccommend it

Hmmm, I read that Intrinsa actually makes you horny as opposed to Viagra that just helps men get better erections....

Hello,
Has this helped with being intimate after having a hysterectomy? I too have gone through menopause and also a hysterectomy and am interested in trying but very nervous too as never taken any tablet for something like this before.

Hi Judith. If you had your womb removed AND your ovaries your testosterone level will fall and you may get low sex drive sooner rather than later. If you are near menopause age your hormone levels will be dropping. BUT the only way to find out is to get blood tests done. With me, the Intrinsa patches took time to work possibly up to three months. Then the effect was great - sex drive back, mood good, vim and vigor back. Down side some facial hair and possible weight gain. Hope this helps.

hello
thankyou Oli for your help. Ive had my blood tests and am now waiting the results!
Although I am rather unsure about taking this patch if it causes facial hair and the other side effects.
Is there another alternative? I notice the men seem to have more choice for any problems they encounter.
