Hi Judith, well done for getting the blood tests organised. If they show your testosterone levels are low then using Intrinsa should be helpful and not cause any facial hair problems etc. If it does happen, then stop taking Intrinsa and all should go bck to how it was before. We're not talking sideburns and full beard here anyway - may be the odd hair. Good luck.

Just thought Judith, let me know what numbers they give you when you get your blood test results. Ask what unit of measurement they used to find out your testosterone and estrodiol results. So take a bit of paper and pen along. That would be very interesting for me. Many thanks.

No Judith I don't know of any other aid to increase sex drive in women. I know men have viagra and also they can have testosteone replacement as well - which is two separate things. Viagra works in a mechanical way and Testosterone works by increasing the hormone. You see, with women, low sex drive can be caused by other factors like depression or not fancying their partner any more - sounds obvious I know!
