Does anyone know about whcih protein powders to take if you wanna
bulk up a bit? I'm getting into exercise and I just wanna speed things up a
bit! There are so many different types in the health food stores its difficult
to know which one to choose.

Any thoughts?

if you're training alot then beware: it depletes your body of protein and
glycogen. so that's where the shakes come in. After a work out is the
perfect time to put nutrients back and speed up your recovery. Your
body is much more receptive to absorbing nutrients at this time. if you
haven't been doing this, you'll be amazed at how effective it is.

A good choice for postworkout nutrient loading is nonfat milk mixed
with either weight-gain powder, Met-Rx or any of the metabolic
optimizer products like Metabolol. Give them a try bb!

see ya,
Scotty

I tried protein shakes once when I was a stupid teenager. I thought I
could just drink them and I'd beef up. I didnt realise I was supposed to be
working out like a DEMON in the gym. Id never been in a gym in my life!?

Needless to say I got FAT and FLABBY!

Admittedly I was an idiot.

So if youre going on the shakes - you got to work out A LOT mate!

Thanks Scotty I took your advice and went for Metabolol - and I'm taking
if after a serious gym session involving interval training and weights. I'm
really getting in to it!

You've definitely got to keep working out - you can gain between 2 - 4
pounds on creatine.
What it does is it pulls water into your muscles and makes them more
effective and efficient, giving you a boost of energy. That means you can
do more reps, and lift more weight which will change your physique
faster.

But if you take it and don't work out - You will balloon!
