Did you guys see in the paper today, the story about restaurants in New York being banned from adding any salt to their food? The restaurants are up in arms, but I guess for people with high blood pressure, it'll take the pressure off! Then its up to us if we add salt or not. Would you want that ban in the UK?

IT's all a bit much - if you dont have high blood pressure, then why should it be banned from you? I know it would probably save the NHS a bit of money in the (very) long run. But why not have it on the menu (along with the calorie/fat content that we talked about before? ) Then we're making informed decisions. I don't want to go and spend a fortune on bland food. Not that I'm able to eat out properly at the moment, because I'm on xenical...
