When we're stressed we turn to food to calm us down and comfort us. What we should be doing is breathing deeply - taking in big gulps of air to alleviate the stress and stop us running to the fridge! Take slow, deep in-breaths, focus on your diaphragm expanding, then count two seconds in your head as you slowly exhale... Sounds easy enough. I'm trying it right now!
