An ex partner of mine has just told me that she has Chlamydia. I've just booked myself in for a test but I'm seeing my girlfriend before then and was wondering if i did have it could a pass it on to her if I fingered her, rubbed her clit or performed oral on her?

Yes you can. Its a sexually transmitted disease, which means any sexal contact with an infected person, passes the disease on. I suggest you both get checked out very quickly!

Shes not infected with it, and we've not done anything together, its was an ex who has it. What I asked was if I could pass it on to her from going down or fingering? I know I can pass it on if she went down on me. And I've been checked just waiting for results.

I understand that but I would wait til you've got the results before having any sexual activity. Without trying to insult you, you could easily infect her if you have touched your own penis with your hand and then touch her etc.,??? I have had chlamydia and luckily didn't have any lasting effects (was caught early) but that's not always the case, and it's more severe for women. Speak to your g/f I'm sure she'll appreciate waiting!

Make sure you wait for the results before you do anything and if its +ive dont even think about not telling your girlfriend - surely she has a right to know??

I have been really worreid for ages now with a similar worry. I gave a lad a BJ but did nothing else then found out from his ex that he had chlamydia. I was petrified to go to doctor because he knows my mum really well so i found the tests that you can do at home
thank GOD i didnt have it but your fertility isnt worth messing around with
