Got up this morning everything fine but by 1 pm I was in sooo much
pain ended up in the bath and has spent the last hour and half on the
loo drinking pints of water! I had cyctitis in sept for about 3 weeks lots
of pain, bleeding, swearing and tears I had 2 lots of antibiotics I had a
3rd but didn't take em I knew I'd need em so I've just taken 1 50mg of
nitrofuratoin hopefully I won't need the docs but y does it keep coming
back? It's the 3rd time this year the pain is unbearable and it comes on
so fast!

You've got to stop using overly fragranced bubble baths and soaps - they
are a really bad cause of it!
I also hear that its genetic, so if you're pre disposed you've got to be
extra careful.
Cranberry juice! keep things as alkaline as possible!

I think it's in ur genes. If ur mum had it then you'l have it - which is a
pain in every sense. Canada's right about soaps and stuf too.

But definitely always go to the loo after having sex. and tight trousers are
bad news, so don't wear skinnies!

Just to reiterate what canada and daisy said:

rinse really well after a bubble bath, if you use bubble bath that is.

Pee after sex, women always have an urge to go, it is a way of cleaning out.

Hope this helps and have also heard that cranberry juice helps too.

Agree with the cranberry, suffered with this for years. The Juice never seemed to work for me.  Cranberry pills work great. No more antibiotics again.

Cucumber juice is also a great home remedy cause its is a very effective
diuretic. A cup of it, mixed with one teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon
of fresh lime juice, will beat it if u take it 3 x per day...
