I was with my ex husband for 20 years and now have been on my own for 2.5 yrs. I have been asked out by one guy a couple of times and I know that he wanted to take things to the next level. I have to tell you the truth, I am absolutely terrified of the thought of doing anything other than kissing. I am 39 and wonder if I will ever overcome my fear?
Dont worry if he think's that much of you he'll wait till you're ready , I'm also 39 ( shhhhhhhhhhhhh!!) & must say it does seem to get better as you get older !!

Presley, I think he has given up on me and I don't know whether I should explain how I feel or just let it go. To tell you the truth, he is not the right person for me if you know what I mean. I just hope that he doesn't hate me because we have been friends for a year now.
If your not interested just be honest. It will be the kindest thing for both you and him and if he is a true friend it will not matter to him, as long as he still has you as a friend.
Can I just say though I absolutely love Presley's advice!
