I'm 22 years old, and I'm a 34G. I've been pregnant twice and I have one child who I nursed for 16 months despite inverted nipples (which are cured now). I was extremely thin and a natural 34D before my first pregnancy, and swelled to a 40H at the time of delivery after a 100 pound pregnancy weight gain, which is what I can thank for the recent sagging and stretch marks. The thing is that my breasts have always been slightly asymmetrical, with the right areola and the entire right breast both being larger than the left, but that's the least of my problems. The truth is, I love my breasts but my hubby says that i need to have surgery becaue he says he loves me but not my breasts. He says so in a joking way but the truth is that i know he sort of means it. Should i go for the surgery to make them fuller again? Has anyone here had this sort of surgery before!?

Hi Mati I'm a little concerned of how your husband is speaking to you. I don't want to cause any offence but it's not very nice to you. It is perfectly normal to have one breast larger than the other, especially after breastfeeding. Is it a large difference? 2cup sizes or more? Are you happy with yourself, your body? You say you do love your breasts so why have dramatic surgery which will scar you and can come with complications not to mention the financial side (breast implants have to be changed every 10 yrs I think)? I honestly don't want to sound patronising, you are young and sounds like you have got a fantastic figure!! He is your husband so try talking to him and tell him that you like your figure and you find his comments hurtful and not needed. Maybe have a word with your dr too??? If you like yourself the way you are don't change hun, don't ever ever change, there's not many of us that do like the way we are, but don't ever change for somebody else. x

Can you please post a pic of the breasts so that we can judge them for ourselves? If you don't want to have them exposed then a wet t-shirt (white) would do.

Does anyone know if you can get breast enlargements onthe NHS? Someone on another post told me that they got a tummy tuck on the NHS and this enlightens me into thinking I can create a new me, all at the taxpayers expense. Any advice, let me know - after breastfeeding 3 kids, there ain't no milk left if you know what I mean...Kx

The poor taxpayer has a lot more important things to worry about than an ego trip for a self centred person like you. Have you not heard of the recession and the number of people who are really struggling to live and feed their children? Grow up.

my whole point here is that taxpayers money should not be wasted for frivolous reasons. As it happens, I do have implants but because of breast cancer and not vanity and they are not all plain sailing. Fortunately, I had insurance so was not a drain on the stretched NHS. Surely public money should only be spent on this type of surgery in cases of deep psychological problems or cancer. Irresponsible girls who fancy a makeover because they read on here it might be available should and hopefully will be treated with the contempt they deserve.

everyone pays taxes so if you need surgery, why not, there are a lot of tax payers who never need to use the NHS.if a man wanted a sex change no one would mention it,people can suffer psycological problems if they are left to dwell on there perticular situations, which can lead to time off work due to depression.
