I hear so many different things but just talking about the common cold, what really (in everyones opinions) is the best cure for the everyday cold? I have one coming on which means my whole household is gooing to come down with it so I just want to know if there are any ways to control it. Any ideas appreciated! Kx

hey Karen, Hope the cold is getting better. I will let you know my secret. I take and Echinacea complex supplement the moment I feel a bit fatigued, the herb/supplement boosts your immune system. It doen't work if you are full blown sick. Anyway it will keep the cold or flu at bay. Take it for 2 weeks at a time, no longer. You will find you don't get as sick from now on. Also buy a good brand. tommy

KAren, I guess it is a matter of how bad is the cold? like bad enough to need tamiflu? or just in need of a good ol sleep and hide under the covers. If it is bad i would rather have antibiotics to fight the infection. Or if you are like my partner, just wallow till everyone gets sick of you. I am def a fan of echinacea. My partner recently picked up a cold and i immediately started taking echinacea and I have not gotten sick. I am pleased becuase I could really do without being ill these days!! x
