Hi

I am so worried about this bird flu. does anyone know where i can buy surgical face masks to keep as a precaution, like the ones they wear on the tv? maybe a local dentist?

I see now they're saying the birdflu has passed to cats after a dead cat in Germany was found to be infected with H5N1.

Now we're really doomed with all the moggies roaming around britain

i wouldnt get to freaked out about that cat since it ate the infected bird - if any mammal ate the infected bird it would probably die from the virus.

the worry is that the virus might mutate into an influenza - thats what to worry about. there was another post on this subject somewhere else in this forum that i read a while ago...

Im not worrying at all about the bird flu.
Anything can kill you or make you ill!
If you havent got it why worry about it?
You could get knocked over by a bus tomorrow, or fall down the stairs and break you neck.
Life is too short to worry about something that hasn't even mutated yet??
Go to the pub, have a few beers, and stop flapping (get it? Flapping?)
And as for your masks have a look on the tinternet, im sure you could find some if you are really that concerned.
