I don't know what is going on, but I can shake this damn cough!
I've had it for weeks. Is this something that's going round? IT seems so
much deeper in my chest than normal, ie. than any other cough I've
had before.
It's particularly bad at night. I thought it was starting to shift about a
week ago, but its still pretty persistent. It's beginning to drive me mad!
I'm sick of hearing myself coughing.
I'm wondering if I've had swine flu and just not realised it?? It's all just
so unusual!

I'm no doctor, but sounds like you probably need some antibiotics.
That'll knock it on the head for good.
If it was swine flu, you'd be totally knocked out. Trust me - you'd know it!
Haven't had it, but that's what I've heard!

URGH! If I go on antibios then I wont be able to drink, but I guess I dont
have an alternative coz this coughing is really starting to give me a
headache now! its really bad in the morning especially. i;ll get onto a
doctor and see if i can get a perscription on monday

alright
theres loads of coughs going round at the mo and also some nasty tummy bug thing. i had it a few weeks ago, really sick for about 10 days, being sick and toilet probs. nasty nasty thing. all the doc said was go to bed, drink rehydration fluids and take soluble paracetamol - so i did that but it took ages to get rid of it. all beter now tho!
if it aint gone tho in a coupleof weeks, id go to the docs, maybe some antibiotiocs needed

hey there
BB - how is your cough? did you go to drs?
Dont worry about not drinking on antibios - its better to get rid of the cough and be better, than supress your immunity with alcohol!
Hope your feeling better now though.

alright!
so i tinhk i jinxed myself cos after posting on this forum...i got ill! not sure if its a cold, flu or whatever...but i got this awful cough which has a groce thick flegmn with it, greeny/yellowy in colour and really thick, it takes ages for me to cough it up and then it just rattles away in my chest.
i have given up smoking so i know im gonna get a bit of clearing of my lungs going on, but should it be that bad? it really hurts in my back when i get a coughing fit too.
