My friend took her 2 sons... I haven't heard any horrid news (she would tell me if there were issues) I bought tamiflu for the family anyway, especially to take it when we go on hols just in case we are somewhere foreign and there is a break out... Hope this helps! Disco x

I bought tamiflu, but I haven't used it yet. I relieved that I have it, but it looks like there isnt much chance any more of getting it. They thought it was going to be a whole lot worse than it was. I'm glad it wasn't, but its absolutely right that we were all prepared!

In fact, I just had a look at the news, and it seems that because the pandemic wasn't as bad as they thought, they're going to donate 3.8million doses of the swine flu jab to Africa ahead of the rainy season. I think it was better for us to be safe than sorry, and that's a good thing to do with the surplus vaccines.

canada, don't you think the swine flu will just mutate and come back in another form that is just as problematic? T

I think it will come back and be mutated and there will be another pandemic, it is inevitable.

These things seem to come in waves dont they? Bird flu, swine flu...what next I wonder? It's definitely safer to have the tamiflu on hand isn't it? WA
