I've heard that plenty of sexual activity in later life reduces the risk of prostate cancer. I'm enjoying looking after myself in this respect, but is there any truth in the idea?

I have taken part in a clinical trials taking medication for prostate conditions and one of the doctors told us something similar to what you wrote - the gist i got was that the more the prostate is used the less problems can be envisaged in the future. Why are you worried anyways do you have a history of this condition or does your family?

Some family history of non-fatal prostate cancer - no symptoms myself - but reluctant to take psi test because of uncertainty about high false-positive rates. Would prefer to keep gland as long as possible. Cloud-cuckoo land?

prostate cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in men unfortuntely. I read something once about testosterone and prostate being linked and that if you reduced the testosterone then you protect the prostate (?) If thats doesnt make sense pleae ignore this post, andy
