Hi, I have been going out with a older man for 3 years who is hitting mid 50s I am 30 he had a vasectomy 20 years ago and we are hoping to reverse it and start a family together I have been reading up on the net about it and to be honist its not good odds and may cost a small fortune would love some advice from anyone who has gon through the same experience? As a male I thought the idea of having a vasectomy was so you can't have any more children because you've already got enough. Perhaps this bloke should concentrate on looking after the children he already has rather than breeding more. And if you can't afford the op how do you suppose you're going to afford to raise the kids? Anyway if you must go ahead with this, have you considered D.I.Y? It can't be that complicated I reckon. A quick trip to Staples or B&Q should sort you out - a long paperclip, some scissors and a short length of plastic piping should do the trick.

Ive never heard of such a phenomena but i am sure that it is possible. Have you made any progess with this yet? Id be interested to hear about it?
