i know someone whos bi polar and shes just got pregnant.
does anyone know if that;s ok, and do you have any advice for her? shes
on meds for the rest of her life because of bipolar. And there;s no way
she can ever come off of them because then she feels so bad. any advice?

I also know someone who's bipolar and she's got two kids now. Bipolar is well common now, and I think you just gotta keep tabs on your MOODS. Check that the meds youre taking for it are ok for little uns. anyway, its a question for a proper doctor at any rate.

Daisy, I've had children and I haven't got any mental health problems. But
being pregnant affects your mood anyway, so she'll need to pay very close
attention. I wish her the best of luck...

Daisy - have you seen that theres a story line on Eastenders about this?

Dont know if u watch it but Stacy Slater is one of the main characters
and she's bipolar and pregnant.

The BBC are gonna have to play this right and show genuine side
effects or problems with the med situation. So it could actually be v
INFORMATIVE to watch for your friend.

Apparently the interest in bipolar shot up since they featured this
storyline - which shows the power of tv right.
