I know its late but Caramel Apples...Yum Yum Yum Ingredients you need eight apples one cup of peanuts (chopped) one cup of heavy cream 3/4 of a cup of light corn syrup 1/2 cup of unsalted butter one cup of sugar one teaspoon of vanilla extract Directions Wash and dry the apples. Insert a stick into the stem end of each. Line a baking pan with foil and Place the chopped peanuts into the pan. Over high heat, cook 3/4 cup of the cream, the corn syrup, butter, and sugar to 280 degrees ; at this point the syrup will be golden. Remove from the heat and carefully swirl in the remaining cup of cream and the vanilla. While the caramel is hot, dip and turn the apples into the caramel to coat and let any excess drip away. Dip the bottoms into the chopped peanuts. Finally arrange the apples on a nonstick or paper-lined biscuit sheet and let cool. Et voila..Delicioso
