hey there
Digger you are one lucky husband if you get pudding every day! I normally have that as a treat at the weekends! lol!
well done Lins on your 4 weeks not smoking, thats brilliant!
Im doing ok so far, its been a really busy week and my kids have been playing up so there was a couple of times where i really wanted to have a cig, but i didnt and was really pleased with myself!
Ive been out walking this morning with them, and now their dad has taken them for the night, so ive got the place to myself and going to chill out with some films, homemade popcorn(was watching a program the other day about making toffee popcorn at home!) and soak my feet! totaly bliss!
hows everyone else doing?

alright!
So how is everyone doing? How was the weekend? any blips??
I went out for a run...haha, yes a run! I managed 20 minutes non stop with a bugger of a sticht, but i did it and i felt wicked at the end! my legs were killing me the day after and i think i even felt muscles in my tummy that i aint felt for years!
So its 8th march, and ive been 4 weeks in total with no fags! well chuffed! rock on 3 months! i still cant quite believe it somedays!

Hi guys!
I've only just discovered you're all over here as well as on the Champix one. Excellent - more posts to respond to of a morning.
The weight gain thing might be an old topic now but I've just caught up - and yeah I'm putting weight on when I really need to lose quite a lot. I'm in danger of winter clothes not fitting this year. I know exercise is the best option, just not very motivated.
Cheers
Kaz

hey there
Kaz...dont worry about the little bit of weight that comes on, we all get that from stopping the cigs as we probaly used most of our cigs in place of when we should of been eating something!
So how is the no smoking going for yous all?
Im doing well, really starting to feel different now...taste and smell is so much stronger and id forgotten how good some foods taste!
as for the extra weights, ive been watching the size of my meals and cutting down a little on the portion size and then trying to do more active things to burn off a bit more than  what im eating.

How is everyone going? Lins? Hougton, Kaz?
Not been on for a while, been going through some tough stuff with work and its been getting the better of me.
Not smoking still, but really feeling the cravings making a nasty comeback. Not sure if I can up the dose of champix? Anybody know?

113 pounds seems very light for an adult - maybe you needed to gain a
bit of weight anyway?
