As a long term smoker who quit a few months ago, I have now realised that I suffer from erectile dysfunction. i had no idea that i was clogging up my arteries down there, i found this info: I think i will now have to start e.d. meds and it sucks, but at least the meds may help. Several bodies have reported that smoking can reduce the sperm count, and also render men impotent. A report by the BBC in the UK has stated that smokers are twice as likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction than non-smokers, and this has been confirmed by many medical bodies. Smoking causes atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries feeding the penis, and the nicotine also constricts the smaller blood vessels leading to impotence.

I'm a woman and I've been a heavy smoker for a good 13 years now. And although I've not always been as careful as I should when it comes to contraception, Ive never got pregnant. Maybe its something to do with me smoking? I know its bad for sperm, but its prob no good for eggs either? and I would like to have kids one day, so anyway I started taking champix yesterday. How long does it take for my lungs and body to be clear again? can that happen?
