I agree that it is difficult!! My partner has smoked all his life and is over 40 now..is there any words of encouragement I can use to start him into thinking that giving-up might be the right option?  I am happy to get him Champix if its going to help but he doesnt even want to quit and besides telling him that its bad for him or bad for me, what can I say to him?? lins27 03-01-2010 @ 4:11 PM                           reply Member Joined: Jan 2010 alright! firstly i wanna say, dont give trumps such a hard time, we are all here for trying to give up smoking and its difficul enouugh as it is without having people judging us or telling us we are bad people. Trumps, well done mate on starting the champix and dont give yourself a hard time everytime you have a blip, these things happen and we jump back on the wagon the next day and start afresh. Keep checkin the forums as they are really helpful and there are some really good supports out here for us all. I gave up smoking beginning of Feb, without taking champix and am still not smoking.
