I started on the 1 a day at 0.05 and on saturday I moved up to two a day at 1mg each. All day during saturday and most of today I felt so nauseous from the tablets I didn't WANT to smoke, so did not have a cigarette till about 3 hours ago, and just now when the cravings were just so unbearably strong I wanted to scream.

Is this normal? To stop then start? What is the exact aim of these tablets? I do want to give up and I have willpower, they just don't seem to be taking away the cravings and just making be feel very ill.

I can't use patches as I'm allergic to the skin glue used to keep them on the body. I tried them before, and got no where, I also tried cold turkey but started again only a matter of days later.

Its costing me too much to smoke, I have chest pains sometimes, no energy to do anything, my sense of smell is shocking and I hate the fact that I stink all the time. I want to give up, but I'm so scared these tablets are not working properly.

Have I tried to give up too soon? At just over 1 week? Do I need to let the tablets work on me longer? Is there a point where the cravings just are not there anymore?

I stopped smoking the fags on day 14, and I still had cravings up until
then, but they reduced over the course of the two weeks. By day 13 I was
smoking only about 5 a day - down from 30. But when I gave up, that was
it. And the cravings disappeared. I think 2 weeks was the right amount of
time for me, before quitting. I havent smoked now since Jan 23rd and I
dont have any cravings - so far its worked well for me.

I know what you mean about the cost - its crippling.
