Hi everyone Just wanted to say have a happy and safe weekend. It's a public holiday here on Monday and I'm heading out of town, so won't be online for a few days. Take care. Tracy - 24 days without a blip? You're a legend lady. Kaz

hey there Tracy, you put me to shame! well done on 24 days smoke free and yes as kaz says...no blips?? You are a saint! I actually cant remember what day Im on now, as I lost my bag on the bus the other day and it had my bloody diary in it which consequently had all my dates written in it...great. Im on about day 29 or 30 of champix and day 26 without smoking. I think, but seriously cant remember. Is memory loss a side effect of champix? enjoy your time off Kaz! Steve - how aer you doing so far? CINDY74

well done Steve thats good news. Yes, I'm ok. I had a strange rash on my hands but it's almost gone now. I didnt want to go to the doctor about it, I was worried he might take me off Champix, and I just want to finish the course now. I am quite close to finishing.

hey there well done Steve on doing so well, 7 days is a brilliant acheivement. you should give yourself a pat on the back. im doing well, still feel sick if i smell smoke on someone else or if someone smoking in the street passes me, but i think ive got a handle on the cravings, they are still defo there, but i try to keep myself occupied until it passes and then do something else. each day is different. big test for me will be when the summer time comes, as most of my evenings will be spent outside in the pubs! Hi Cindy/Digger, Digger perhaps you ought to just report the rash as an unusual side effect to the smoking clinic. Cindy you must be up to a month off the fags now that's brilliant.I smell the smoke and wish i could light one up,well i could but choose not to,it amazes me how the nicotine controlled my life, but not anymore. Speak soon

Good for you Steve! I don't get the urge when I smell smoke, but I sure do when I see someone smoking. Y'know I've realised it wasn't just controlling me but others around me - e.g my husband is very pleased that we can now sit inside in cafes and bars. Can't believe I used to make him sit out in the heat and cold so I could smoke! (He's an ex-smoker, so at least he understood). Keep it up! Cheers Kaz
