i havent told anyone at work that ive given up on champix, or that ive given up smoking at all! if it all goes pear shaped then i dont have to live with them all knowing that i failed - i work wiht a bunch of seriously competitive people! does everyone else tell eveyone around them?? do you think its more useful for the support to beat it, than avoiding the guilt for failing??

Tell people , I think. The support is very valuable and you could probably do with every bit of encouragement you can get. My family was fantastic. And then you will be less likely to fall back into smoking because you wont want to disappoint your supporters. Good that they are competitive. Anything that makes you stop going back to it. The pills are strong, but you need to have iron willpower and lots of cheering on from the sides.
