Hi all I am on the 12th day of taking Champix and have been stopped smoking for 4 days.. Just wonder if anyone else has an empty feeling like there's something missing. Is this normal withdrawl symptoms or is it just me ?? Thanks all

Hi Tracey, Thanks its not so bad now.The champix is ok and you do feel like your missing something but its the habit that you have to break. I packed up on the 08/aug 2010 and have still not smoked. I surprised myself and everyone else. I wish you luck and click on here most days so keep going honest its worth it in the end.

Hello Tracey, I know that feeling myself. I did the whole course and definitely felt like there was an emptiness. Smoking had been such a routine in my life, for decades, it really was part of my personality. A cigarette was an extension of my hand. Horrible to think of now, but it was very true then. Sometimes I felt an emptiness in the pit of my stomach, like I'd forgotten something really important. It felt that way for a while after I'd finished the course. I finished last April, and I don't have that feeling now. Can't put my finger on when it stopped, but probably about 3 months after I stopped. I don't feel like I'm missing anything anymore! It will pass.
