hi all this is my first time and was wondering if anyone else has gone off the course and then started again.i have stopped for 7 months and went on holidays over christmas and started up again very one around me was smoking and it was really had .I feel really bad as my parents/sisters and kids still think im stopped.I have 2 weeks of the tablet left which i have started taking today but am scared what the eefects long term could be if your on these things to long.the nausea is back which sux but am really hopefull this time will be it. please can anyone tell me if they have slipped up and started again.I feel so horrible for going back now i have to start all over.

No point beating yourself up. Just start again and look forward. Lots of people have blips. It's not easy. I did the full course once and it worked. Others have done it a few times - you can see that on the posts on this forum under Champix. If your family thinks you've stopped, then thats a good reason to really stop. Nothing egged me on more than my family wanting me to quit.

Don't you beat ya self up - It is easy to slip - that's why nicotine is such a popular and addictive drug.... But try to be honest with ya family if ya know it's gotya again! Ya might need others to believe in ya ability to do this when ya not sure of ya self:)

Hi Mandy Yes indeedy - I slipped up big time after about five weeks smoke free on Champix last year. I blame the fact that I broke my ankle badly, was in a wheelchair for five months and bored out of my wits at home - but that's just an excuse. Anyways, I'm trying again. Just got to the end of week two on Champix and have been smoke free for a couple of days. So let's try this thing again together! Stay on the forum - I found it really helpful last time.
