Hi: Started Champix on June 1st and quit smoking on June 10th. So far it has been great other than severe constipation and gas. I don't want to give this up but really scared of a bowel obstruction as I have had this before. Any good remedies?

Well, it's Day 18 and I am VERY excited!! I've wanted to quit smoking for so long and have never been able to come close until now with Champix. It is amazing!! Finally got help from a pharmacist about the constipation and so far yesterday and today I feel much better. Also learned that withdrawal ALONE from stopping smoking gives constipation so either with or without Champix that side effect will be there. Sorry, I'm not obsessed with my bowels lol - just very relieved!!! I am already able to do my physically and not have the extreme shortness of breath after smoking for 37 years. I've put on about 5 pounds but will take that off when I am through this 12 weeks of Champix. Good luck out there and keep posting - it helps us through this!
