Hi there, my brother is on Crestor and without it he is suseptible to a heart attack and he has a lovely family with 2 little girls. We have a hereditary problem in our family so we cannot help our cholesterol, it is high. So I am very pleased he is taking it. I believe my father is on it also. I may even need it in the future and cannot believe it exists. I just wanted to say how amazing it is and has put my worries at ease! Fern

hey there Fern, do you know much about crestor? Im really interested to find stuff out. Is it only used for people with higher levels of cholesterol or people at high risk of things like heart atacks? ive got a cholesterol of 4.2 but think that is ok, or the gp didnt give me any reason not to think that. I dont understand whether I should be taking crestor or not, I have a history of stroke in my family - so looking at preventative pills. CINDY74

hello Fern - I was touched to read your post and very much hope your brother is doing well on this pill. Do you happen to know much about this pill? If so, could you perhaps share a little as there doesnt seem to be anything I can find on these rooms with regards to who could take Crestor? Im very interested to find out if its for people who dont have high cholesterol to be used in preventing getting high cholesterol or not?? Many Thanks judith
