Manythanks M jemima 01-26-2009 @ 4:11 PM                           reply Member Joined: Jan 2009 I was put on Crestor even though my cholesterol wasn't that high - my doctor suggested that it is a good preventative for heart attacks and strokes as these are prevalant in my family history.  He did tell me of a few side effects that i might experience but I haven't had any so far and it seems to be doing its job right... marty 01-30-2009 @ 2:17 PM                           reply Member Joined: Jan 2009 Thanks for your response.  I am thinking that side effects will be fairly mild  from what I have read online - that works well for me.
