I only have headaches and nausea but I was told by my doctor that other side effects may show up within time. I didn’t know if should believe it or if he just told me that to save himself in case that I get other side effects. So I did my own research and I found out that if a patient has side effects, they generally go away when the patient stops taking the drug. Many people using crestor do not have serious side effects but still, crestor is associated with a higher rate of muscle and kidney complications (which can rarely lead to a serious condition called rhabdomyolysis) and muscle tenderness, weakness, pain (especially with fever or unusual tiredness) and change in the amount of urine. More side effects as yellowing eyes and skin, dark urine, abdominal pain, severe nausea, vomiting or fatigue should be reported to your doctor immediately. Although crestor has many possible side effects it still one of the most safe lowering cholesterol medication out there, so don’t get to scare.

Hello! I would love to know more about the side effects as my partner is being changed from Lipitor to Crestor. His doctor told him that there really are not any to worry about, but I'd like to hear any long term users real life experiences if there are any. Thanks

I think Crestor is still fairly new though right? I doubt there would be too much information from long term users... As for Viagra and Crestor, I have been researching a lot lately and can't find anything, Maybe the 2 are not linked and can be used together??? Dunno realluy, may ask the doc on ukmedix.com.... so will post in a new discussion if I get anything. M
