is this a serious question??? Crestor is the best thing to hit the medical world since slice bread hit our kitchen shelves. Its a cholesterol lowering medication that we can take every day to prevent high cholesterol. Why is this good for us? Because Cholesterol is bad for us and causes heart attacks. Its that simple.

Alb is right, crestor is so far one of the best medicines out there to lower high cholesterol, which in many cases can be produce by the liver and this is why you should check with your doctor before you take crestor , so he can perform a simple blood test to know if you have any liver disease, and if you do, doctors don’t recommend crestor because it can lead to serious side effects. Sometimes even if you don’t have high cholesterol, crestor can prevent from strokes, heart attacks and osteoschlerosis. good luck if you decide to take crestor!!!

hello I may be asking a silly question but I have just come across this post and I know I have slightly high cholesterol, but not sure I need to take a medication for it. My dr didnt seem to show any concern with my results, so I didnt ask. Is Crestor for everybody or do you have to have a certain level of high cholesterol in order to be able to take it? Can people with a normal cholesterol level take it as a precaution? I have a friends daughter who has a 4.2 level but not sure if that is good or not? judith
